Dr. Brandon Aki-Jackson of Lakewinds Chiropractic Center
Dr. Brandon grew up on the west side of Phoenix, Arizona, and pursued his passion for science and helping others through an extensive academic journey. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Archaeology from Arizona State University.
He then completed a Master’s degree in Animal and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Arizona, graduating in 2019. Dr. Brandon continued his education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, graduating in 2024 with his Doctor of Chiropractic.
Specializations and Research
At Palmer, Dr. Brandon specialized in pediatrics, pregnancy, and radiology. He conducted research on low back and neck pain and the use of chiropractic care to prevent the escalation of lower-quality care options. His expertise includes taking and interpreting X-rays and implementing craniosacral therapy, among other techniques.
At Lakewinds Chiropractic Center, Dr. Brandon primarily focuses on prenatal and pediatric care. “I chose to go into pediatrics and pregnancy because I wanted to be a positive male role model for that population. Male figures are not always seen in a positive light, and I want to change that by being a supportive presence for kids and pregnant moms.”
Life Outside the Office
When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Brandon enjoys golfing, hiking, and exploring new spots in Michigan with his dog. He is passionate about being outdoors and is always on the lookout for new adventures and scenic trails.
